The Trevecca volleyball team advanced to the NAIA Region-XI Tournament for the fifth time in school history and made it to the region semifinals, finishing the season with a 26-10 overall record and 13-5 in TranSouth play. The 26-win record is the fourth highest season in school history, resulting in the seventh time head coach Scott Jones has produced a 20-win season. The team finished third in the TranSouth Conference race and third in the TranSouth tournament.

Trevecca started the season with a four-match win streak that included three wins in the Embry Riddle Tournament. Trevecca reached the finals of that event before falling to eventual national tournament participant Morningside. The Trojans won the next five matches, all on the road, for a 9-1 start that included a 4-0 start to conference play. The marquee win in the streak was a five-game win at Union University. It was the first win at Union  in program history. The team saved its longest win streak for later in the season when a seven-match win streak improved the team’s overall record to 18-4 and its conference record to 9-3. The team ended the regular season with four consecutive wins and finished the regular season with a 22-7 record and a 13-5 conference mark. The team extended the streak to five matches with a first round win in the TranSouth Tournament.

Trevecca won three matches in the TranSouth Tournament and reached the semifinals where it lost to regular season co-champion Martin Methodist for the fourth time this season. Trevecca advanced to the NAIA Region XI Tournament where it upset Martin Methodist and advanced to the semifinal round, eventually falling to region-favorite Georgetown College.

Brittney Ray was named to the NAIA All-Region-XI Team, AVCA NAIA All-Region Team, and the TranSouth All-Tournament Team. Ray was joined on the All-TranSouth First Team by Kelly Huff, and Kimi Coffey was named to the second team. Coffey and Huff were named to the TranSouth Scholar-Athlete Team along with Allison Gray, Graci Silva, and Kaley Ward. Ray was named Region-XI and TranSouth Player of the Week three times. Huff was named Region-XI Setter of the Week twice and received the TranSouth award on three occasions. Coffey was selected as the Region-XI and TranSouth Libero of the Week once during the season.
