Sweep Bethel Play @ Mid-Continent Saturday

Brittiany Johnson improved to 5-0 with the win on the mound in game one. She pitched the complete game allowing three hits, a walk and a run. She had 10 strikeouts. Johnson helped with the offense as she went 2-3 with a run scored, a walk, a home run and two RBI. Sammy Simon was 2-4 with a run scored, a home run and two RBI. Chelsea Bailey was 3-4 with three runs scored and a stolen base. Kacey Koonce was 2-3 with a run scored, a walk and two RBI.
Stephanie Fisher (3-0) got the win on the mound in game two. She started and lasted three innings allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out three. Shelby Mashburn pitched the final two innings. Karli Rush was 1-3 with two runs scored and a home run. Kacey Coonce was 4-4 with four runs scored, five RBI and two doubles. Chelsea Bailey was 2-2 with four runs scored, two walks and a stolen base.
Trevecca will play a double-header at Mid-Continent University (4-12, 2-6) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
, Tenn. – NAIA No. 4 Trevecca (8-0, 4-0) took two from Bethel College (1-9, 1-5) on Thursday. Game one was a 8-1 victory and the game two final was 18-3.
