NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Alisha Ewing begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Trojan volleyball program.
Ewing played for Trevecca for one season prior to pursuing track and field as well as volleyball at Bethel College in her home State of Indiana. Ewing excelled at Bethel in both volleyball and track and field for Coach Julie Regiana. Ewing was the captain for the women's track and field team and was the NCCAA National High Jump Champion in 2003 and 2004. Ewing was an NAIA All-American in the High Jump from 2001-2005 and earned MCC All-Conference honors during the same time frame. On the volleyball court Ewing was all-conference from 2002-2004. Ewing graduated with a degree in sports management.
At Rochester High School in Rochester, Indiana Ewing was a three sport varsity athlete participating in volleyball, basketball and track. She was all conference in all three sports during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. Ewing won the state high jump title in 2000.
Following her graduation from Bethel College, Ewing coached Trinity Christian High School for one year. Currently Ewing is working as a physical therapist assistant.
