2007-2008 Trevecca Baseball Schedule/Results

In game one the Trojans struck first with a run in the first inning, but AUM scored at least one run in the next five innings. One in the second, three in the third, two in the fourth, four in the fifth, and two in the sixth. TNU had six hits and two errors. The Tigers had 16 hits and one error. Omar DeJesus was 3-3 for Trevecca and had a run scored. DeJesus had a double and two stolen bases. Justin Mundy was 1-3 with the only RBI. Brent Amburn (3-1) took the loss in the start. He lasted 4.1 innings allowing 13 hits, six runs, two walks and had a pair of strikeouts. Chris Sutherland pitched one inning and allowed three hits, five runs and two walks while striking out two.
 
In game two Trevecca scored two in the fifth inning. AUM posted a run in the fifth and two in the seventh. Trevecca had four hits with a error. AUM had eight hits and no errors. No Trojan had more than a hit in the game. Brett Thaler was 1-3 with the only two RBI for the Trojans. Thaler and Landry Walker each had a double. Jason Pope had a stolen base for Trevecca. Drew Durossette started and lasted six innings. He gave up six hits, a run, a walk and struck out five. Steven Brown (0-1) took the loss in relief. He pitched .2 innings and allowed tow hits, two runs and two walks.
 
The double-header was a change from the previous schedule that had the teams playing a single nine-inning game on Tuesday and a double-header on Wednesday. Weather concerns for Wednesday prompted the move and the series was reduced to a two-game series.
 
Trevecca will host Crichton (13-12, 4-3) for a three-game TranSouth series starting with a single game on Friday (2 p.m.) and a double-header (Noon) on Saturday.
, Ala. – NAIA No. 10 Trevecca (16-7) dropped a pair of seven-inning games at Auburn-Montgomery (23-8-2) on Tuesday. Trevecca lost the first game 12-1 and the second game 3-2.
